In Acts 12 the author Dr. Luke recants when Peter was arrested and in prison. Peter is chained between two guards and an angel of the Lord comes and frees him and walks him out of the prison.
If you were to ask the prisoners in my care who would like an angel of the Lord to come and free them and allow them to walk out of prison,
the obvious majority answer is predictable.
But the question I would present to them is, "What would change?" If you were allowed to "Go free", to "Get out of jail", just walk out, what in your life would change or be different. I believe not a whole lot.
No, God knew their hearts and minds and knows that should He do the same miracle for one of these inmates, that nothing in their lives would change and so they must remain in prison. Continue to lean on the Lord as they fulfill the consequences for their actions. And continue to grow and change in the Lord.
My question now is for you.......
What circumstance do you find yourself asking God to just
let you "Go Free" in?
And in all honesty, should you receive a miracle,would you go right back to your same old lifestyle?
So often God allows us to remain in difficult situations so we will seek His refuge, seek His face, and lean on Him.
As we walk out this life, remember that this earth is not our home, rather a temporary place we are staying before we go to our home in heaven.

Continue to lean on the Lord in your difficult times and seek to find the reason the Lord has you enduring your trial.
Until Next Time,
